Ciao Roma!

Hello everyone!

And now it's time that we must say goodbye to Rome. We've had an incredible time here, and as we pack our bags and travel to Paris today I believe the group will look back on our time here in fondness as it's been an extremely memorable stay.

Though we were unable to visit the Sistine Chapel, we enjoyed a tour of St. Peter's Cathedral and decided that since we were unable to see the famous Chapel, that we would instead climb to the very top of St. Peter's.

Almost the entire group climbed over 500 steps and reached the top of the cathedral and looked out at this remarkable view:

The media crew is out and about in Rome and some of the group has been lucky enough to spot some of the more famous Cardinals walking around.

The media crews are out and there seems to be an electric sense to the city as everyone awaits the news of the new pope.

The red curtains are out on St. Peters waiting for the new pope to present himself.

Everyone is having a wonderful time and they send their best to all of you.

Updates from Paris coming soon! Upon arrival this afternoon we'll have an orientation tour through the city and settle into our hotel before heading to dinner.

I'll write again soon!
Sincerely,
Natalie
